NVLS

The Northern Valleys Locavore Store is our first shop. It’s situated in Bindoon, a small country town less than an hour from Perth city in Western Australia.

It’s in the middle of a food bowl, with food of all kinds grown in the region, the Northern Valleys, yet people were unable to access this food – instead shopping at major supermarkets!

This inspired us to start the store, which is essentially a multivendor marketplace where growers and food entrepreneurs can offer their produce for sale, and people can shop for the goods all in one place. The physical store houses the produce and acts as a normal shop and the website is the online marketplace where the produce is bought and sold. When a customer buys a product inshore or online, the grower is paid into their online account.
